Ellah Reveals She Had Plans To Marry Idris

Ellah and Idris were often seen snuggling under the covers. They even kissed several times as they enjoyed their time in the Big Brother house. But after their mothers visited and cautioned them during the freeze task in the second last week of the show, things changed and they ended up in a complicated situation as the 21-year-old Tanzanian photographer couldn't decide whether he wanted to be with Ellah or not.

This of course made her most upset, but the 24-year-old Ugandan beauty queen couldn't help all her infatuation. In an interview with Uganda's New Vision, Ellah, real name Stellah Nantumbwe, has revealed that she had plans to marry the Big Brother Hotshots winner.

Read excerpts below;

Who updates your Twitter handle?

I do, but sometimes there is administrator who helps me to keep it active. People like it when you are in touch with them.

How have you been since returning from Big Brother Africa?

Life has changed, but for the better. I am proud of what I have achieved so far.

I watched you on the Scoop 'n Scoop show on Urban TV.

That was my first time on TV as a presenter. I was not nervous. I was just myself. I guess the cameras in the Big Brother House helped a lot.

Who is your ideal man?

Definitely Idris Sultan. He has a great masculine body. I think he has all the qualities any woman would want.

Tell us about Idris. Was the relationship real?

I do not know about him, but for me, it was real. Right now, we are settling back into our lives. We will see if we still have the feelings for each other.

Has he called since Big Brother ended?

We are in touch. But I cannot tell you to what extent.

Idris is 21 and you are 24. Does the age difference matter to you?

For me, it is about maturity, not age.

Did you have any plans of marrying him?

Yes, but we decided to put our relationship on hold. This is because when money is in control, a lot can happen. We shall give ourselves some time.

Didn't you worry that your boyfriend back at home was watching, while you cried over Idris?

At that moment, I did not care at all. I just wanted to follow my heart, be myself and be happy.

What puts you off about a guy?

Being aggressive, manipulative and having self-pity.

You were very laid back at the start of the game.

You get very anxious when you enter the BBA House: You do not know what to expect. But soon, it gets easier as you interact with your housemates. The diary room sessions and the cameras remind you that you are not in isolation. Just knowing there are people outside who are around you is comforting.

Viewers across the continent thought 'Biggie' had a crush on you?

It was a good friendship. We always had a good conversation. I guess he was so kind to me because of my character. I did not forgot to tell him "thank you" after every session.

Did you meet Biggie after BBA?

I did not and I would not want to meet the person behind the voice. It is just nice that the voice makes you feel like someone is watching over you, like a real big brother.

Is Idris going to share the money with you?

I do not know. But I want to make my own money.

What if you found out that he had a stable girlfriend back at home?

Honestly, I would totally understand that and move on with my life.

What do you think of sex before marriage?

I think one should do what they feel is comfortable for them.

You and Esther did not really like each other and yet you are from the same country, why?

It is just that she preferred different kind of company.

What next after Big Brother?

There are some songs I recorded while in the house. The first one I am going to record is about Idris.

By Carol Natukunda & Halima Mampiima.

Idris Wins Head Of House Task.....Who do you think Idris will add in tonight's nomination show?

The qualifier for the Head of House task was titled Feed the Monster. Housemates were told to line up behind a throwing line at Big Brother's command. They were then instructed to throw a Frisbee into a constructed monster's open mouth. Each housemate got three turns, with each turn starting at the sound of a buzzer. All the housemates who successfully tossed the Frisbee into the monster's mouth three times, qualified for the next round.

Only four people were allowed to qualify for the chance to compete for Head of House. There were plenty of misses and some interesting throwing methods. Butterphly, Idris and Ellah were the only housemates to get Frisbees through the monster's mouth, and none of them managed it three times. Realising how difficult the task actually was, Big Brother kindly offered all the housemates another chance, with the previous round rendered null and void.

During the do-over, Nhlanhla, Mr. 265, Macky2, Tayo, Frankie, Idris and Butterphly managed to feed the monster a few times. Frankie was the first to qualify for the Head of House task with two throws, and the housemates who had managed to throw the Frisbee into the monster's mouth once had to go through another round.

In a final, nail-biting round, only Nhlanhla, Mr. 265 and Idris emerged victorious, joining Frankie for chance to compete for Head of House.

The qualifying housemates – Mr. 265, Frankie, Nhlanhla and Idris – were to take part in the Ghandour Putt-Putt Golf Course Tournament for the Head of House task. In the garden, the ninjas supplied housemates with Ghandour-branded T-shirts which housemates all pulled on. The qualifiers each received a golf club and ball, while the other housemates became spectators.

At the sound of the alarm the tournament started. The aim was to putt the ball from the start line, past all the obstacles and sink it into the hole at the end. The player with the lowest handicap, in other words the person who hit the ball the least amount of times from start to finish, would be the Head of House winner.

Nhlanhla was up first, followed by Frankie. Next up was Mr. 265 and finally Idris. They all started well, but struggled when it came to sinking the ball - it was certainly a tricky putt. However, they all got it in. Housemates were whispering in the background, delivering commentary and clapping afterwards, making it feel like an actual golf tournament. But there could be only one golf champion and it was Idris.

New Head of House Officially Appointed......Tanzania's Laveda Becomes The First HoH

Laveda's soothing saxophone performance has earned her the first Head of House title of the season.

Laveda blew into her saxophone with grace, immediately warming the hearts of the studio audience who expressed their appreciation with a generous 85% of the votes.

Just as the housemates were settling into their brand new abode, Big Brother's booming voice filled the house and as expected, that provoked a lot of excitement and the new members were simply uncontrollable.

Speaking of the various performances, Big Brother said some housemates had shone like starts while others still need a bit of scrubbing here and there.

It was when Big Brother mentioned that the top scoring housemate will win the title of HoH and the rest are up for possible eviction.

The Top 6 Hotshots were Sabina 78.3%, M'am Bea 72.5%, Arthur 77.5%, JJ 72.6%, M'am Bea 72.5% and Lilian 69.4%.

M'am Bea, Arthur and Lilian had the lowest votes of the six and Big Brother asked them to sit down. This left Lavida, Sabina and Arthur

Once Big Brother was done with that big announcement, the housemates found it befitting to toast to their new head of house.

Watch her performance and see how her saxophone won her favor

Feza Releases New Single 'My Papa'

Tanzania’s former Big Brother Africa contestant Feza Kessy has released her much-anticipated new single, My Papa; a love song dedicated to her man.

There was a lot of excitement as Feza Kessy’s fans across Africa reacted to her new single that premiered yesterday on Yarona FM, Botswana. Eager fans from many countries utilised the live-stream option to listen to Feza’s interview as they waited to hear the song.

Her fans were not disappointed and many took to Twitter and other social media platforms to show their excitement and appreciation after listening to the new song for the very first time.

Feza was introduced to Africa last year when she participated in the eighth season of Big Brother Africa. The Tanzanian beauty gained a large fan base while in the house due to her out-spoken nature and down-to-earth personality.

While in the house, Feza fell in love with Botswana housemate Oneal and the couple was affectionately nicknamed Oneza by adoring fans. The two were admired for staying true to their real personalities despite the pressure of the Big Brother Africa game, which usually sees many participants put on phony personalities for the sake of winning the prize money.

On leaving the Big Brother Africa house, Feza made a quick trip back home and then left for Botswana to link up with her man who had been evicted before her. The two have been inseparable since then, making several trips between Botswana, South Africa and Tanzania as they support each other’s careers.

Prior to joining Big Brother Africa, Feza had just finished recording her first single, Amani Ya Moyo, which was passionately embraced by the Big Brother Africa audience when it was played at a Saturday night party in the house.

While speaking to Radio Botswana today about the inspiration for her song, Feza said, “This song is special because it came from my heart. I wrote it on a flight to Zambia. Oneal had just dropped me off at the airport and I was missing him”

She confirmed that her new song is inspired by and dedicated to her love. “In my previous song you could tell I was sad, but now I am happy, there is a man making me happy. I am in love.” the bubbly Tanzanian beauty said while speaking to Yarona FM.

“It is bongo flava, so people out there can get to hear the Tanzanian flavour, but it is also has a bit of afro beat and little bit of house,” she said.  ”And it is in mainly in English so people from all over Africa can listen to it and identify with it”

Bongo flava is a very popular genre back in her home country.

If the reaction the song received today on social media is anything to go by, My Papa is going to be a big hit. Give it a listen below..
