The Road Ends For Esther!

Uganda has suffered a set back as far as Big Brother Hotshots is concerned after one of her reps Esther fondly called ‘Small Pepper’ got evicted this evening. 

 

The outspoken, jovial and dance queen couldn’t beat off stiff competition from the likes of JJ, Tayo, Permithias, Laveda, Sabina, Frankie, Lilian and fellow country-mate Ellah (who was just swapped by reigning HoH Samantha).
 

The pint-sized Hotshot leaves the house after a fortnight of entertaining Africa and just being herself.
 

Meanwhile, it’s been a double eviction as Nigerian ‘twerk queen’ Lilian also received the dreaded boot. The pair’s eviction leaves Uganda and Nigeria with one housemate each currently.
 

After Resa and Mira’s eviction last week, the house now remains with only 22 Hotshots. Seems like the show is slowly but surely moving on.
 

What did you make of today’s eviction?

Lillian from Nigeria and Esther from Uganda have been evicted from the Big Brother house

In the words of IK, we had come to that part of the evening he liked least and being the bearer of the bad news, he should know.

First given their marching orders was Lilian and just a moment later Esther was second in the contemptible eviction cart.

As the pair mounted the stage to join IK they were simply dripping Hotshot status

This was much to Lilian’s fellow country mate Tayo’s shock as he called out to her saying “how could this be” to which Lilian responded it was okay. She most certainly didn’t look it. On stage she told IK she was shocked.

For old time’s sake she treated the audience to a free style rap as she dropped a twerk or two.

Esther simply took the sash of her country’s flag and embarked on a walk of shame. On stage Small Pepper told IK that she and Lilian had developed a close friendship in the house because they are straight talkers.

Back in the house the mood sunk after the pair of Hotshots fell out of the game with Tayo shedding a tear on their behalf. Cheer up chum. This was how the game went.

Sure Win

Lilian and Esther were very bitter last week Sunday when they found out that they had lost the Extravaganza task. The loss had left a bitter taste in their mouths as the two ladies complained and blamed fellow team-mates for their loss. They took the turnout of events very personally and clearly pointed out which team members were responsible for their loss. However, this week they are certain that they will be the victors of the Extravaganza.

Whilst sitting outside in the garden and going over the script that JJ and Samantha finished for their team last night, Lilian, Esther and Laveda debated on who would make a perfect narrator for their show. After much calm deliberation, the ladies agreed that whoever was nominated for the role and whoever was interested in it, would have to audition for the group and from there, the best person would be selected for the benefit of the whole group.

Lilian and Esther reflected on the past week and considered how things had not gone down so well. Esther said that she wanted the best production as did Lilian who added that she wanted everyone to give their best as she would. The ladies admitted that they had messed up in the first Extravaganza as they had fought a lot during their practice sessions.

Lilian said that she had felt very horrible when they lost but could feel that they would definitely win the Bollywood Extravaganza. She said that they were doing so well and everything was perfect well in time (especially the script). Esther was happy that they were not even fighting and that they were "chilled" and felt confident about their performance.

Lilian and Esther felt very confident that they would do well as they did not have any amendments for their scripts. Esther expressed how she felt pressure from being nominated and Lilian advised her not to fret much about it but to rather choose to be happy.

Esther's Fun Gossip Session With Biggie

Today in the diary room, Esther thoroughly enjoyed her diary session with Biggie as she let out some secrets of her own along with her suspicions over the relations of some of the housemates. The ever so giggling Esther told Biggie that she was happy and confident about winning the wager.

Big Brother asked her for her comment about relationships in the house. She quickly let loose about the known couple, Nhlanhla and Sheillah, and said that nothing much had happened between them to confirm their relationship but that there was clearly something going on. She also told Biggie about her suspicions about something brewing between Laveda and Permithias and that she also felt there was something between Permithias and Sabina. She also said that Permithias had said he liked light-skinned girls and assumed that things were likely to develop between Permithias and Sabina but didn’t mind who the singer got on with because she liked both girls.

Biggie was keen on finding out more about relationship dynamics in the house and asked Esther if there was anyone she was interested in. The Ugandan lass blushed and told Biggie that she couldn’t say much on that topic as there was somebody outside of the house that she was interested in and thought would hit things off with.

We wonder who Esther may be eyeing in the house because she told Biggie that there was somebody that she was still looking at and assessing although she did not think she wanted to get into anything with anyone.

The session ended on a high note as Esther offered Biggie a little dance in the baggy pants she wore which she loved. Biggie welcomed this and after the performance Esther left, leaving us still wondering who she was falling for in the house. Who do you think this could be?

Esther From Uganda

 

Esther, Age: 23

Pint-sized student Esther hails from Uganda's Nsambya. She describes herself as meek, bubbly, creative, truthful and loving as well as friendly and outgoing.

She says she entered Big Brother Hotshots to connect with people from different countries and to expose her talents. She's looking forward to giving Africa a chance to see her 'true self'.

Her favourite foods are mashed potatoes and chicken tikka masala. On books, she likes Rich Dad, Poor Dad while musically, Rihanna is her favourite. She likes The Wendy Williams Show and her favourite actress is Zoe Saldanha.

Esther says that Jinja is her favourite place in Uganda, because it is 'the pearl of Africa'. Outside of her home country, she sees California as 'the place of dreams and fun'.

The most influential person in Esther's life is her brother Fred, because "he has been there for me and he always will be".

Esther promises viewers unique skills, entertainment and being herself always. If she wins, she plans to invest some of the money, donate some to charity and support her family and career.

With her sparkling personality, Esther looks set to shine inside the Big Brother house. She says she's very funny and can make people laugh.
