Ellah Reveals She Had Plans To Marry Idris

Ellah and Idris were often seen snuggling under the covers. They even kissed several times as they enjoyed their time in the Big Brother house. But after their mothers visited and cautioned them during the freeze task in the second last week of the show, things changed and they ended up in a complicated situation as the 21-year-old Tanzanian photographer couldn't decide whether he wanted to be with Ellah or not.

This of course made her most upset, but the 24-year-old Ugandan beauty queen couldn't help all her infatuation. In an interview with Uganda's New Vision, Ellah, real name Stellah Nantumbwe, has revealed that she had plans to marry the Big Brother Hotshots winner.

Read excerpts below;

Who updates your Twitter handle?

I do, but sometimes there is administrator who helps me to keep it active. People like it when you are in touch with them.

How have you been since returning from Big Brother Africa?

Life has changed, but for the better. I am proud of what I have achieved so far.

I watched you on the Scoop 'n Scoop show on Urban TV.

That was my first time on TV as a presenter. I was not nervous. I was just myself. I guess the cameras in the Big Brother House helped a lot.

Who is your ideal man?

Definitely Idris Sultan. He has a great masculine body. I think he has all the qualities any woman would want.

Tell us about Idris. Was the relationship real?

I do not know about him, but for me, it was real. Right now, we are settling back into our lives. We will see if we still have the feelings for each other.

Has he called since Big Brother ended?

We are in touch. But I cannot tell you to what extent.

Idris is 21 and you are 24. Does the age difference matter to you?

For me, it is about maturity, not age.

Did you have any plans of marrying him?

Yes, but we decided to put our relationship on hold. This is because when money is in control, a lot can happen. We shall give ourselves some time.

Didn't you worry that your boyfriend back at home was watching, while you cried over Idris?

At that moment, I did not care at all. I just wanted to follow my heart, be myself and be happy.

What puts you off about a guy?

Being aggressive, manipulative and having self-pity.

You were very laid back at the start of the game.

You get very anxious when you enter the BBA House: You do not know what to expect. But soon, it gets easier as you interact with your housemates. The diary room sessions and the cameras remind you that you are not in isolation. Just knowing there are people outside who are around you is comforting.

Viewers across the continent thought 'Biggie' had a crush on you?

It was a good friendship. We always had a good conversation. I guess he was so kind to me because of my character. I did not forgot to tell him "thank you" after every session.

Did you meet Biggie after BBA?

I did not and I would not want to meet the person behind the voice. It is just nice that the voice makes you feel like someone is watching over you, like a real big brother.

Is Idris going to share the money with you?

I do not know. But I want to make my own money.

What if you found out that he had a stable girlfriend back at home?

Honestly, I would totally understand that and move on with my life.

What do you think of sex before marriage?

I think one should do what they feel is comfortable for them.

You and Esther did not really like each other and yet you are from the same country, why?

It is just that she preferred different kind of company.

What next after Big Brother?

There are some songs I recorded while in the house. The first one I am going to record is about Idris.

The winner of Big Brother Hotshots is.....IDRIS!

Tanzanian 21-year old Big Brother Hotshots representative Idris has been declared the winner of the ninth season of the reality TV show after 63 days in Biggie’s space.

The youthful comic and aspiring actor managed to beat off stiff competition from Tayo, another Hotshot who had made the final two list but as it turns out, Idris’ lucky star shone brighter than his thus coming out on tops this evening.

His win was proceded by evictions of Butterphly, Ma’m Bea, Sipe, JJ, Nhlanhla and Macky2. After Idris together with Tayo were declared the final two, Biggie called them to the Diary room where they’d their very last Diary as Hotshots final two during which Biggie wished them the very best of luck and urged them to continue playing their game even on the outside.

Shortly after leaving the Diary room, they were Chauffeur driven in a Limo to the Live Show stage and had a red carpet walk greeting fans and invited guests.

Host IK had a chat with the duo before going on to call out Idris’ name as the winner of Big Brother Hotshots! He jumped up in excitement and went on the floor before being congratulated by Tayo, the 6 first evictees of the day and then the rest of the ex-Hotshots joined in the celebrations thereafter.

Huge congratulations to Idris, one lucky lad there!

Evictions: Nhlanhla & Macky2 sent home!

Macky2 and Nhlanhla have become the latest eviction victims after being booted out of the show this evening following the likes of Sipe, JJ, Butterphly and Ma’m Bea who were evicted earlier on.

The pair’s eviction spells an end to Zambia and South Africa’s chance to land the much awaited grand prize of Big Brother Hotshots.

There’s no doubt the two lads have been at their best when it comes to playing the Big Brother game but as already stated, it’s just a game and there’s always one winner.

This leaves Tayo (Nigeria) and Idris (Tanzania) still in the race to take home the USD300.000.

Who do you think will be out ultimate Hotshot?

Evictions: JJ & Sipe out!

Zimbabwe and Malawi are officially out of Big Brother Hotshots after their surviving reps in JJ and Sipe respectively were sent packing following in the footsteps of Butterphly (Zimbabwe) and Ma’m Bea (Ghana) who were evicted first.

This brings the number of those still in the running for the money to just four; Idris, Tayo, Macky2 and Nhlanhla. All the foursome seem to be very strong going by the way they’ve managed to beat off the competition from the first four evictees.

At the moment, Nigeria, Tanzania, Zambia and South Africa are the surviving countries.

Who do you think will take the crown home?

Evictions: Butterphly & Ma’m Bea off the money!

Butterphly and Ma’m Bea have become the latest Hotshots to be evicted from the Big Brother Hotshots house after 63 days leaving six others still in the running for the grand prize.

The latest developments spell danger for Ghana as her only surviving rep has been thrown out of the race, however, Zimbabwe which has been having two housemates in the final week still remains with JJ and only time will tell if he’s strong enough to bring the money home on Butterphly’s behalf.

The six remaining housemates; Tayo, Macky2, Idris, JJ, Nhlanhla and Sipe still have to battle it out tonight for Africa to have an ultimate Hotshot.

Who do you think is next to leave the house?

Nigerian star artiste D’Banj teamed up with Zimbabwean artiste Buffalo Soulja and Naeto C and they they performed the ONE Campaign theme song ‘Coco na Chocolate’ much to the excitement of Africa. It should be recalled that the Hotshots performed the same song a couple of weeks a ago during one of their weekly Extravaganza task presentations.

The Live Show which has kicked off in high gear has already seen a number of appearances and performances from the Ex- Hotshots. The over two hour grand finale is still on and surely Africa should brace herself as a lot is still on their plate this evening.

Upnext, the eight Hotshot Finalists will be performing for the last time for Africa (as housemates though).

It’s been a mouth-watering Final Live Show of our beloved Big Brother Hotshots which was preceded by the Ex-Hotshots making a red carpet appearance an hour before all the cameras changed focus to the studio with host IK who invited the the former housemates on stage. All of them performed for Africa and from the screams and chants which could be over heard from the audience, it weas clear that they were having priceless fun.

It’s now clear that they’ve indeed been up to something after they were eviocted from the show, at least they’ve showcased something to nAfrica omn their probably final appearance this season.

Live Show: Ex-Hotshots walk the red carpet

The red carpet was dazzling and the next to walk past cheering fans was Samantha from South Africa. Upon being asked what the feedback had been from fans, she told Carol that she was amazed at the love she got across the continent, but particularly from her home country.

Carol mischievously enquired whether Samantha’s money was onIdris or JJ, two men the lovely lass had close relations with in the house. Samantha’s coy response was that she was OK with either of them winning.

The next to arrive was Multichoice representative Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, the regional director of M-Net (West Africa). She spoke about the fire which ripped through the original houses, and thanked everyone behind the scenes for pulling through despite all that went down. Her personal highlight of the season was when the ex-housemates were in the house.

Representing Endemol, the original big wigs behind Big Brother, was Senior Head Creative Brendan Gabriel. His view on Big Brother remaining so big on the continent was that it allowed Africans to escape into an opulent house and party.

After these heavyweights continued their walk down the red carpet there were more housemates to greet. Frankie, from Rwanda, looked spiffy in a sharp suit. Following him was the incredible host IK, who told us what he was getting up to when he was not on Big Brother Africa.

A platinum-blonde Sheillah looked glam in a sexy white dress, who Vimbai said had caught the eye of Desmond Elliot. The lovely girl from Botswana could not wait to launch her career, including utitlising her incredible voice.

We’ve seen only a handful of Hotshots and top dogs walk the red carpet, but there are plenty more to come. Make sure you keep on watching so that you can see all your favourites and hear what they have been up to.

Payback Prank

The end is indeed here and how better to start off the morning with some noise? The day started off with a prank for the Three Suckers and a shocking altercation between Tayo and two members of the Three Suckers – Nhlanhla and JJ.

Earlier in the week, JJ and Nhlanhla had neatly pranked the hotshots by carrying their bags outside whilst they slept. The rest of the hotshots woke up only to be startled by the sudden disappearance of their bags. They all wondered what had happened and even considered if it may have not been one of Biggie's pranks.

This morning, in retaliation to the prank, the rest of the housemates carefully orchestrated a prank on the Three Suckers. A mixture of eggs, couscous and flour was poured over the boys, pulling them quickly out of bed and into the shower!

After the pay-back prank, Nhlanhla said that their prank was better than the one pulled on them but what really set Tayo on fire, was a comment that JJ passed which he admitted to have not clearly heard but hated that he said anything behind his back. JJ insisted that he was neither talking about him or to him.

Tayo went over to the shower where the boys were cleaning themselves up. He shouted and pointed fingers at JJ, threatening that if he dare repeated the things he said to him inside Biggie's house, outside of the house, he would deal with him decisively as he would not have any protection – no Biggie and no cameras. Perhaps JJ needed to consider bodyguards!

JJ kept telling Tayo that everyone was witnessing who he really was and urged him to continue with his insults and threats. And Tayo did not disappoint! We wondered if the Nigerian model was not simply anxious about the finale show and at least hoped that he was not serious about doing damage to JJ and Nhlanhla after the show.

What did you think about the morning drama and Tayo's threats?

The Last Day

It's the final day and it's going to be a long one, as the top eight Hotshots try to stay busy and keep their minds occupied before the grand finale.

Last night's dinner and ONE Africa Concert will at least give them plenty to talk about. For their last night they were spoiled by Big Brother with a six-course meal and performances by seven African artists. They asked the Hotshots a lot of questions about the game – giving them the perfect chance to reflect on their journey in the Big Brother Africa house.

The final Extravaganza will take place tonight and housemates spent time yesterday preparing. During the afternoon they took it easy, although they often filled the house with rapping and drumming as the five remaining men hung out together in the living room.

They will also get a chance to reunite with their former housemates and after receiving encouraging messages from them during the dinner party they are probably even more excited to see them.

Make sure you keep on watching to see all your favourite Hotshots tonight and to see who wins the big prize!

We are one

The end was near and with it performances, facades, pretences and perhaps even strategies were falling by the wayside. What was interesting to see was how the remaining eight – well factions of them at least – had eased into a comfortable space, so comfortable with one another they almost resembled a dysfunctional family.

Idris and Butterphly were a typical case in point. The two friends were often frank with one another, able to the laugh at themselves and at each other.

They were also not too shy to tell one another just where to jump off which often made for funny bickering as they threw shot after shot at one another.

If it wasn’t Idris accusing Butterphly of talking like a “cheese girl” with a pointed anglicised accent, it was her yelling over her voice to drown out his drivel. Idris often got the backing of his bandits Nhlanhla and JJ while Butterphly got honourary member, or rather “suckateer”, in their boys club The Three Suckers. She was always able to stand her ground with him while she grounded him by not buying into his ego-driven emotional trips.

This morning while the pair were cleaning up the garden they got into it yet again, this time with Butterphly taking the upper hand. It was all very funny and endearing to see. After surviving Idris’s add when he was Head of House there little to no doubt that this pair were as close as two peas in a pot.

All for the finale

As the housemates gather around for the final Extravaganza rehearsals, their commitment to the last hurrah was palpable. With only the top eight left there were no teams and it was really about how housemates were going to create a unified whole performance while adding their own individual flavour to it. Their rapping and rhyming was taking on good shape for tomorrow night.

In line with this week’s theme, looking back to their journey over the season, each housemate was tasked here to come up with an extravaganza piece that spoke to how they have grown and what they are going to take away from the experience.

With M’am Bea carrying the song with her sweet melody and Tayo feeding a proudly African and edgy djembe beat to the track the rest laid their respective verses on the tune. From Sipe expressing her gratitude and honour at being a Hotshot to Butterphly and Macky2 speaking to their highlights in the game through a natural flair for the spoken word everyone was primed to bring their A-game at the last extravaganza performance.

In the style of a hip hop cypher – which historically brought together musician, poets, MC’s, rappers and wordsmiths alike so each could tell their own story in the whole –  the housemates turned rappers were going to affirm just why they were heavyweights having come so far in the game.

Who do you think will pull off a stunner at the final show?

When ‘Mira on the wall’ played

Today was indeed a “musical day” of sorts going the the way Biggie has been unleashing various tracks nonstop. After doing their rehearsals for their final Extravaganza of the season, Biggie surprised housemates by playing back “Mira On The Wall” a song concieved and crafted inside the Big Brother house by evicted Namibian reps Luis and Permithias. As soon as it started playing, the house was filled with ululations, jubilations, chants and praises for Luis.

It should be noted that the inspiration behind this now hit love song was drawn from the short on-show romance Luis had with Mozambican belle Mira. unfortunately the pair only got to know about each other for just one week following Mira’s eviction, something that would see Luis spending the next three weeks in the house just thinking and getting a “depression” over his lost love.
It’s as a result of intense missing of Mira that he teamed up with countryman and famous guitarist Permithias who composed while he penned down the lyrics to the song.

After their respective evictions, they got together, worked on the song and produced it. When listening to the song, Luis is heard expressing his undying love for Mira while Permithias plays backup vocalist and serenades the lyrics too.

Meanwhile, as it played Tayo, Idris, JJ, Nhlanhla and Macky2 rashed to the lounge (infront of the mirror) chanting, singing and dancing. It may have played for just once but trust the Hotshots, they were as good at mastering some if not all of the lyrics of the song and begged Biggie to play it again. They later sent shout outs to Luis and apllauded him for the good work.

What did you make of the sweet moment?

After the show

It’s one of very final days in the Big Brother Hotshots house and it’s only ideal and natural for housemates to start talking about life after the show whose curtains come down tomorrow evening. By the look of things, most of the them want to venture into the entertainment world something that is probably a nice move basing on the pace the industry in Africa is growing.

Housemates were coming to the realisation that their time on the show was certainly not in vain, whether they took the money home or not. They were already winners with all the exposure to opportunity they had already received. This morning Idris sat down with theButterphly as she attended to a mountain of laundry and the two friends shared their hopes, dreams and plans when the leave the house tomorrow.

Butterphly came in a wordsmith and showed Africa just how talented a poet she was. While she wasn’t quite sure where she would start but she was going to venture into music and get her business idea’s off the ground. She had certainly made her mark as one of the brightest sparks and communicators inside the house.

Idris wanted a comedy show all to himself. He was shooting for the stars with his talent as comic and one day hoped his show could land a slot in an international comedy channel like Comedy Central. He advised Butterphly to write for as many mediums as she could on the outside .

Butterphly however advised Idris that he could make a good co-presenter because he’s very funny but the Tanzanian lad wanted a show of his own and said he’d persue it.

Finale dances

It’s just hours before the much anticipated grand finale of Big Brother Hotshots but the stress and anxienty that most probably comes with it didn’t deter the likes of Idris and Ma’m Bea from having a little fun as they got busy courtesy of some fine African tunes Biggie played in the morning.

Shortly after working out with Nico, showering and having a chat with JJ, Idris made the most of the morning time dancing infront of the mirror to Biggie’s selection. Interestingly, most of the song Biggie played were from East African artistes like Wyre something that made Idris even more wild as he sang, jumped and danced along. He however gave himself some much needed brief rests and then returned to the floor with a new dance style.

Ma’m Bea who was busy with her routine cleaning duties danced and cleaned at the sametime and surely it was a sight not to be missed as the Ghanaian designer shook what her mama gave her as if her life depended on it.

Meanwhile, the finale is just around the corner and the finalists have so far been taking it as it comes probably as a result of having an eye on the looming show.

Who do you think will dance away with the money?

The suckers’ crush on Mira

She may have spent just seven days in the Big Brother Hotshots house but Mira left her mark untainted and it surely seems the gorgeous belle also stole a few more hearts. We’ve been used to the fact that she was and still is “Luis‘ woman” but that didn’t deter a few more Hotshots expressing how they felt about her and who would it be if not for two thirds of the suckers; JJ and Nhlanhla.

The fact that it’s rememberance week, the two lads indeed went down memory lane reminscing the good times they shared with the Mozambican beaut, the pair agreed that they should have probably tried their luck on her. The excited suckers said that going for her wouldn’t have been a bad idea but she was most likely to friend-zone them basing on the fact that she’d so many “secret admirers”.
miraNhlanhla said that he remembers the kiss he’d with her in Sheillah’s presence as if it just happened before going to explain how she was dressed on the second day – simple jeans and a tee. She also struck JJ on the morning. He gleamed as he recalled how he’d gone to bed next to a beautiful girl only to wake with her looking ten times as good.

They then talked about the great friend she’d make but their lips couldn’t stay away from the word “perfect”, stressing that she was a perfect being.

Butterphly the ‘suckateer’

Just when you thought Butterphly was coming out of her cocoon and blossoming into an independent player she goes off and seeks entrance into the infamous Three Suckers ensemble. Not only that but they were giving her the poor girl the run around; kind of like how your brothers ran away from the sister who wanted to be part of the crew all the while making fun of her. After being Ellah’s cheerleaderfor the longest time we reckon she was certainly jumping from the frying pan to the fire with the boys.

Last night The Three Suckers sat in all their idle glory cooking up yet another prank as part of their campaign to have fun and ruffle feathers in the last week. At first Butterphly took the moral high road and told them she would not be part of such a nasty prank but she later capitulated and was a whole lot more eager to play a small part in the pranking.

But for voicing her opinion she was labelled a “suckateer” by the Three Suckers, alluding somehow to her being an inferior sucker who wouldn’t make the cut because she lack the necessary guts.

There was no doubt that guts were something “Buttaphleeza” needed more of, especially going up against the band of the mischievous. She had promised Africa more self-expression earlier in the week and while she was louder and more vocal than the withdrawn character we had gotten used to she was still prone to using someone as her crutch.

After being banished from The Threa Suckers club she withdrew to go over her recitations for their upcoming final extravaganza and later, indulge in her favourite past time and sleep.

Sipe speaks out

It’s been a chilled morning today just like the rest of them this final week as housemates seem to have retreated back their shells “after all we are already in the final”. Well, today housemates will have task presentations thus they’ve been busy putting final touches to their respective sculptures and it’s during these preps that Sipe had a one on one with bestie Macky2 accusing him of criticising the way she has fun.

It all stems from the way the Malawian spends her time especially when intoxicated. She accused Macky2 of always criticising him and not having her back as a friend would do adding that he’s always painting her in negative light.

We all know that Macky2 likes his cool and quiet environment and when it comes to people singing on top of their voices and drinking like their lives depended on it, he gets irritated.

A vividly angry Sipe told off Macky2 that if at all Africa doesn’t vote for her because of the way she has fun so be it because she couldn’t change it as she was being herself.

Macky2 tried defending himself and reasoning with her but she refused to give him audience continuing to accuse him of this and that and finally told him that she didn’t want to continue talking about it.

What do you think about the pair’s cracked relationship?

News: A concoction of talent

In changing things a little this week, Big Brother decided that the final extravaganza would form part of the finale show on Sunday night. Housemates would perform live from the Big Brother house.

The extravaganza had to be exactly four minutes long and had to showcase the talents of each of the remaining housemates. These features could include drama, poetry, comedy, dance and song.

Biggie challenged the housemates to also consider all the skills that they have acquired over the Hotshots season when crafting their act. This week’s extravaganza was themed: “The Big Brother Hotshots Journey”.

Biggie gave the housemates the rest of the day to conceptualise and plan their performance.  In the evening, housemates would be asked to present their creative outline for the extravaganza to Big Brother. Housemates also had to prepare and submit a script for their showcase piece by tomorrow morning.

Housemates began work and Macky2 said that he wanted to make sure that the crew ended the show on a high note with a splendid presentation. We certainly could not wait to witness the splendour of an explosion of talent from the remaining housemates!

Do you think they will pull off a killer performance for Africa?

Changes in the house

Since it was the finale week, Biggie made a few “necessary changes” to the weekly routines of the housemates. Biggie required all housemates to take note of the changes and to stay aware of them. Below are the changes that Biggie made.

Head of House: There would be no Head of House this week. All of the housemates had to assist in the management of the house.

Weekly Task and Wager: Housemates would be presented with a variety of tasks throughout the week. The tasks would be themed around housemates’ memories of their time in the Big Brother house and they would have to bring them all together for the final presentation on Friday night.

Housemates had to importantly note that there would be no luxury wager this week but housemates would play for a surprise mega reward on Saturday night.

Extravaganza: The final extravaganza performance would be on Sunday night during the live eviction show and housemates had the week to work on their presentation.

Presentation: Housemates would be asked to do a mini presentation each night, which had to relate to either an aspect of the task or the extravaganza presentation. This meant that Friday’s presentation was a culmination of the week’s mini presentations.

This should be an interesting week!

Life after the show

JJ shared with his fellow housemates that he wanted to do more work with African musicians and that it was his main reason for returning home. He said that he wanted to add flavour to his music and could not work to begin work on his music.

Macky2 expressed how he could not wait to see what would happen when he went back home. He was also looking forward to going back to his music career and said that he dearly missed studio time.

Idris said that a lot awaited each of them outside of the house and that it would be interesting to see where they ended up and how their lives would change after the Big Brother show. From music, the conversation between the gentlemen and the lady (Sipe) turned into one of Talents.

Curious about each other’s talents, the housemates began asking each other what they reckoned the next person was talented in. Watch here for a bit of that conversation:

It seems that with only a week left for Biggie’s show to reach its end, the housemates began thinking seriously about their lives outside of the house. Which housemates are you looking forward to bumping into along the streets?

News: A song each

The day after four housemates left the house started off with RJ Benjamin taking the housemates through some singing.

RJ took them through some voice warming exercises, as per the norm, and told them that he wanted each hotshot to do a solo that he could offer criticism on.

M’ am Bea was the first one up and sung her song. RJ said that she needed to work on pronouncing her words more clearly as a clean pronunciation created a beautiful sound. Butterphly recited a poem and told RJ that she was more into rapping than she was singing. RJ told her that she was clearly good at spoken word and persuaded her to sing more as he believed she could.

Sipe came with a rather ambitious song choice, Beyonce’s "Listen", and she quickly aborted the mission when she neared the chorus. She next decided on a song in her mother tongue and RJ told her that she in actual fact sung much better in her language.

The singing steadily continued; Tayo and Nhlanhla each sang one of Permithias’ songs. RJ thought that Tayo’s singing had improved and whilst Nhlanhla did not seem comfortable at the beginning, he gave it another try and had the rest of the housemates joined him at the end of his song. Watch the morning session here:

RJ Benjamin soon left the house and the housemates got started on their breakfast and some went to shower. The house was much quieter and we watched as the housemates carried on without some of their fellow hotshots. Tayo on the other hand, kept singing and dancing, seemingly coping well with the few housemates remaining.

This week should be interesting to watch as it is the final lap. Who do you think is taking the prize home?

News: Frank talk

After revelling in the Sofa Lounge concert as a reward for making it to the final week some of the final eight housemates looked back on various moments over the season that stood out for them. The three musketeers Idris, JJ and Nhlanhla took a funny and frank walk down memory lane and listed their love hits and misses inside the house.

The three lads ventured into a candid conversation, with JJ suggesting that Idris’ friendship with Samantha was more than meets the eye. Nhlanhla even suggested that he enjoyed all the attention from the girls as much as he wanted to make it look innocent. Idris also pointed out that JJ kissed Ellah and shouldn’t bother denying it. JJ did admit to nursing a superficial crush on the Ugandan beauty.

It also came out that while Nhlanhla shared a kiss with Mira back in the day, he and Sheillah never ever took it there. He was however very attracted to her. Mira came out everyone’s girl of choice; she was bubbly, bold, beautiful, had a killer bod and was the least complicated of all the girls in the house. Nhlanhla even beamed at his special memory with Mira to whom he fondly referred to as “scheme”, which in this context could be understood as friends (with benefits).

JJ would marry Samantha and, surprisingly enough, Nhlanhla would marry Goitse, but we’re not sure we buy that story. Idris, of course, was stumped for choice with all he had on his plate. He was also voted somewhat of a pimp in the house for obvious reasons.

Nhlanhla finally threw out the loaded question; who amongst the them do they predict a winner? With the exception of themselves they couldn’t decide on who was the most deserving.

It is clear that this is going to be a week of bringing up old and fond memories as housemates wait with bated breath to find out who Africa would keep for the final win.

A letter to my love

It’s always hard to say goodbye to the one you love. Tonight’s eviction saw Nhlanhla and Idris kiss Sheillah and Ellah farewell; their lady loves had been sent packing. As they put their remaining luggage in the store room the knights in shining armour quickly penned letters to their damsels.

Shortly after the eviction show, as the housemates mourned their fallen soldiers, Idris could be heard saying that Biggie had taken two of the most important women in his life, leaving him all lonesome in the house. But he certainly wasn’t complaining about remaining in the game.

He and Nhlanhla got the bright idea to reach out to their lost loves one last time in a short and sweet love letter expressing their undying affection. In his letter Idris showered his recipient with kisses and hearts so she knew just how much she meant to him. He also made sure to let her know she was already missed and that he couldn’t wait to see her in seven days' time.

Nhlanhla poured his heart out all over the page. He encouraged Sheillah to make the most out of their first week apart since they had met one another. He also called her his “Titanic” and the “captain of his ship". Clearly attached to his queen, he ended the letter with an “I love you”.
