The last eight performances from the long-awaited Hotshots were absolute fun! The housemates were very competitive as they showed off their talent in their fight to win the number one position on the talent show.
We had a good dose of diverse talents from our new housemates. Samantha from South Africa came out in song- she engaged the audience as they gave her a beat to sing to.
Who would have thought that Laveda would remind us of great instruments like the saxophone and include it in her definition of "afro-funk"? Arthur from Rwanda gave us a good chuckle with some stand-up comedy.
Sheilla sang for the audience and whilst Sipe did the same thing, she added a bit of dance to her performance which wowed the crowd.
Luis and Mira came out with some poetry for the wordsmiths and for those passionate about spoken word. The crowd was as absorbed by their lyrics as they were with Macky2 from Zambia, who came out with some rap. Idris from Tanzania came and turned things up on stage with crazy dance moves.
The Big Brother Africa stage was truly ignited with Hotshots that presented serious competition and above all, talent! The show is definitely off to an interesting start!
