Evictions: How Africa voted

According to this week's numbers Ellah, Goitse, Sheillah and Trezagah received the least number of votes. Here are the results:

Ellah: Uganda

Goitse: Botswana

Idris:
Kenya, Namibia, Tanzania

JJ: Zimbabwe

Sheillah:
South Africa

Sipe: Malawi, Zambia

Tayo: Ghana, Nigeria, Rest of Africa, Rwanda

Trezagah: Mozambique

Five housemates were tied on one country vote each. The tie-breaker rules therefore apply and the four contestants with the lowest percentage vote for all countries were evicted.

Evictions: 8 await their fate

Big Brother Hotshots comes down to this, eight Hotshots all vying for the ultimate prize of USD300 000. IK plays a joke on the housemates, saying that he has more bad news. It is obviously not the case, though as there are eight Hotshots in the final. One of JJ, Tayo, Idris, Butterphly, Macky2, Sipe, Nhlanhla and M'am Bea will be crowned as Big Brother Hotshot next week Sunday in the explosive finale.

IK tells the housemates in the house that as a reward for making it to the final week, Big Brother has arranged a special treat for making it to the final week. A concert featuring Addiction, Dee Moneey and Tekno.

As soon as the show finishes, voting opens and it closes on Sunday at 06:00 CAT. Remember, this is important, you are voting for the person you want to win. This week, Africa will be voting for who they think should win, not who they want to leave the house. The housemate with the most votes at the end of this final week, will be the winner.

These are four ways that you can vote:
  1. Via SMS
  2. Via WeChat
  3. Via www.bigbrotherafrica.com
  4. Via the mobisite on your mobile phone
Next weeks show starts an hour earlier, as it is a two hour special, from 19:00 until 21:00. Who do you think will win, who is the ultimate Hotshot?

Evictions: Ellah & Goitse gone!

Goitse and Ellah were the second eviction of the night making them the 17th and 18th housemates to be given the boot. It was time to bid these gorgeous belles a hearty farewell as they were so close yet so, sadly, so far. With only a week to go to the finale this was a tough kind of eviction but the dames walked the plank with style and grace.

Following her country mates earlier exit Goitse was the second and last remaining Botswanan in the house. Sheillah had become her competion in the game as their countrymen would be split and spoilt for choice. For only a glimmering moment there it looked like she had won them over but her turn was here.

The cool, calm and collected Goitse always treaded with composure. And it was with the very same measure that she accepted her fate as her name was announced alongside Ellah’s. Sipe’s jaw dropped and not so much Idris as she handed out her goodbye hugs and kisses. She walked out wrapped in her nations flag. Later on Sipe could be seen wiping the tears from her eyes.

With the most number of nominations in the season and after being saved all those many times ago Uganda’s beauty queen Ellah had reached her tether and the time had finally come for her burning fire to be extinguished. Her frequent appearance on the nominations list – followed by the fact that Africa was always saving her - positioned her as a strong contender and thus threat in the game and it was for this that Macky2 added her.

Looking as dashing as ever Ellah mounted her heal, adjusted her mini skirt and flicked her luscious locks off her shoulder and hit the road. She flew her flag high and glided onto the stage just like the beauty queen she is. Her beau Idris squeezed her in a longing hug goodbye while her buddy Butterphly yelled "I love you!" which she reciprocated.

Ellah wished all the housemates the best and commended Macky2 for being bold while Goitse joked and said they would be bored without her. Idris' "wives" as it were confirmed that Ellah was his wife for now but Goitse was not about that life.

Fally Ipupa sung the evictees onto stage with a proudly African offering with a modern edge. Both gals had a lot to be proud of and could each hang up the accolade of Big Brother Hotshots contender on their wall of achievements.

Evictions: Sheillah and Trezagah are gone!

IK tells us that it is time to evict! The time has come for SizweNtsalubaGobodo to bring the results of the evictions for tonight. IK asks Idris about the freeze task and how it made him change his game with what his mother told him, as well as Sipe and Macky2's freeze. IK feeds into the house and asks Macky2 what he felt like winning Head of House this week which meant that he automatically guaranteed himself a spot in the finale. He says it came at the right time and that it came at the right time. He says that he added Ellah.

IK asks the nominated housemates to stand. He asks Sheillah and Tayo if their fans have kept them in the game and immediately tells Idris, Goitse and JJ to sit. IK clearly loves the drama and the tension. Sipe and Ellah are told to sit and Tayo is told to sit. This means that Sheillah and Trezagah are evicted.

They get to the stage. Ellah says that she feels okay and that it felt amazing to get this far and she is proud of herself. Trezagah feels "so bad" but he is happy. IK asks Sheillah about her relationship with Nhlanhla, she says it is "complicated" but IK is having none of it, and brings up the "legal binding contract." IK asks Trezagah about the fact that he is out because he moved during the freeze task. He moved because he felt that the freeze task then was a prank. Sheillah says she will be acting. Trezagah is going to be doing more music in english.

We are shown Sheillah and Trezagah's moments in the show, a poignant look back at their best moments in the house. Two down, what else does Biggie have up his sleeve? Do we have a final week with ten Hotshots in the house?

Star Meter award.....Sipe has what it takes!

Sipe is a winner again. This week she takes the Star Meter award for the second time in a row. After last week’s live eviction show we asked you, the viewers, which Big Brother housemate has what it takes to win. The Malawian lass who took last week’s craziest housemate was again this week’s favourite. Listen if you have it, you have it!

With only seven days to go until the grand finale could the Star Meter award be a sign of things – or perhaps winnings - to come? It remains to be seen. It was always fascinating to learn just who Africa’s choices were along the weeks with Tayo voted sexiest in the one week and the one with the x-factor in the next week. Macky2 and Samantha were also past recipients but by the looks of things we had ascended into the reign of glam queen Sipe.

She was your choice this week because… We can’t wait to see her and fellow housemates reactions to her consecutive win.

A win would hopefully lighten spirits inside the house after an emotional week of family freeze tasks. The bunch had a trying run here because in as much as they would get to see their loved ones, whom they missed sorely, they were not allowed to move let alone touch their family, friends and lovers. Biggie raised the stakes higher by adding value to this task. Were anyone to move during a Freeze task when a guest from home came in, a staggering amount of $10,000 would be docked from the final cash prize of $300,000!

With the numbers doing the talking housemates didn’t take it lightly and stuck to script when the moment came. They certainly wanted that final prize neat and intact at the finish line.

Live Show: Bebe Cool stuns!

Tonight marked the penultimate and 8th eviction of the season and who better than Ugandan dancehall and hip hop sensation Bebe Cool to usher us into the proverbial end days? The multilingual musician has, in the past, docked nominations for the historic Kora All African awards and often lends his voice and platform as an artist to various socio-economic causes in Africa.

He launched onto stage with his hit single… and had the crowd eating out of his hands. The rambunctious and mischievous beat to his music was sure to get this party started. Sadly, however, this party was going to be a bitter sweet one as there were more housemates headed down the eviction gallows tonight.

IK sashayed onto stage a cool and charming sight in a bespoke Mai Atafo penguin suit fit with a pastel and mint green edge. Never one to disappoint he was the host with the most as he rang in the unfortunate bunch who are up for eviction this eve.

Botswana’s belles Goitse and Sheillah were both up and towards the end the fellow country mates became one another’s competition as each had to fight for their country’s vote. But that is just the name of the game. Mozambique’s son of rap Trezagah and Miss Uganda Ellah found themselves in the pile by default with Trezagah earning himself a nomination during his infamous freeze task breech and Ellah being the hapless “added” housemates once again. Buddies JJ and Idris were also up with each representing Zimbabwe and Tanzania respectively. And lastly the feisty Malawian lass with a baritone Sipe was also on the list.

One of these housemates were going to be handed their marching order in only moments. The question was who was it going to be?

IK also shared news about the ONE Campaign which is an international advocacy organisation made up of more than six million people taking action to end extreme poverty and preventable disease, mainly in Africa. Representatives from the campaign were invited into the house this week to educate housemates and introduced them to their cause.

Who makes the finale list?

We’ve come far and soon we shall be getting to the final day of this interesting reality show, however, there’s still a lot that is about to happen today as we shall be finding out who will be joining the likes of Macky2, Ma’m Bea, Nhlanhla and Butterphly who seem to have already booked their places in the much anticipated grand finale.

This week, Ellah, Goitse, Idris, Sipe, Sheillah, JJ, Tayo and Trezagah were thrown under the bus with just a week to go. While a few of them have been up a couple of times and survived, there’s a few who have also been less exposed to the chop and one wonders how they’ll square up against those who have seen and tasted it countless times.

This is indeed an important week for all housemates and each one of them will be counting on their lucky stars to be able to make it to the ultimate week (final week). Today is most probably one of the most important days for the nominees in particular because they either continue to be in the run or get the boot when it hurts the most.

Who do you think will join the four finalists?

Warned against kissing

Kudos to Biggie/Figgie for bringing in Housemates’ relatives as they’ve all had an evident impact on each of the housemates’ stay in the house. Ellah’s mum’s visit to the house today seems to have lifted her spirits a notch higher as she’s started to handle matters especially with love interest Idris with a better perspective. Idris who has been using her for his games (so we think) was not the same man after hearing about the advice Ellah‘s mother had left her; to stop kissing, Idris felt bad and the most wounded.

It’s interesting to see that Idris’ acts are not justified as he also acted the same way after his mother’s visit earlier on in the week, the pretty lady told him to “behave” countless times. Idris broke off things with Ellah because he felt he needed to hid to his mum’s advice and just when Ellah decided to retract, he’s the offended one.

After her mother exiting the house, Ellah had a conversation with besties JJ and Butterphly, the two Zimbabweans didn’t mince any words, telling her that her mother’s session was directed to Idris, thus she’s to check herself.

Idris decided to retreat to the garden or was it his shell? Whichever! He seemed lost in thoughts and wore a gloomy face. Ellah approached him for a friendly chat to find out what the matter was, the young lad made it clear that he wasn’t pleased with her mother’s words. He blamed Ellah for everything as usual and later stormed out of the conversation.

Ellah decided to let slepping dogs lie and din’t bother him any more. She however expressed her disappointment with Idris always running away from his responsibilities.

Moments later, Idris was back to Ellah’s side apologizing, hugging and kissing her nonstop like a possessed man.

Meanwhile, Ellah seems to be on track once again thanks to that much needed visit!

A mother’s love

As Ellah was still getting over her mother’s visit, Figgie instructed housemates to Freeze again and shortly after, Sipe‘s mother gracefully walked in and went straight to the bedroom where her beloved daughter was standing.

She began with showering her lots of loves and greetings from home, telllinbg her she was very proud of her and so was everyone back home. “Hi my sweet chocolate. How are you. I miss you so much. We love you. Everybody loves you. You should just be strong. Auntie Pamela, Auntie Florence, Uncle Oliver, Rico, they are all saying hi. You really playing the game good,” she shared.

The excited lady showed so much enthusiasm and encouraged Sipe to be strong and play her game, she didn’t stop telling her that she’d made her proud. She also greeted Nhlanhla and Sheillah who were lying on their bed nearby “Hi Nhlanhla, Sheillah, guys you are so awesome. I’m watching you 24/7,” she revealed.

Sipe was reduced to tears as her mum continued talking and she told her: “My baby don’t vcry, everyone is happy for you. Malawi loves you.” The gong later went off signalling that time was up. Her mother walked out of the bedroom and Sipe ran and convered herself with the bed cover sobbing.

Now that every Hotshot has received a visitor from home, what did you make of the Freeze task in general?

Ellah’s mum cautions

The Freeze task continued this morning with Ellah‘s mum coming into the house and the lady made sure that her point was driven home.

Being the final day of the task, Ellah woke up with high hopes of receiving a visitor from home today and made sure not to be caught in any ackward positions. She also did her laundry but it was clear that she was readying herself for a visitor.

Well, as she was chilling in the kitchen with Macky2 and JJ, her mother walked in and stood right in front of her telling her how proud she’s of her and delivered a few other greetings from other family member back home. “Everyone send their greetings. Your sisters send their greetings. You are doing a good job,” she said.

All was however not over as she said that there was sometyhing that she’d to check: “But there’s one thing. You should stop kissing because it’s spoiling your game. You get me?” She also added that she shouldn’t play any bad games and should be good to everyone.

Ellah mainted her composure but alater her facial expression changed as she started crying but her mother told her everything was fine and there was no need to cry. She also greeted Macky2 and JJ who was holding Ellah’s hand throughout the whole Freeze session. Her mother a while later left the house and Ellah thanked JJ for sharing with her the special moment. Ellah also returned the loved to her mum and apologized.

What did you make of her mother’s visit?

Trezagah’s girlfriend for the freeze

Unlike the past few days when Biggie would bring in Housemates’ relatives later in the day, today, they were taken aback at by the morning freeze after Trezagah‘s girlfriend was sent in.

The gorgeous lady spoke passionately in Portuguese with a wild smile while a beaming Trezagah helplessly maintained his a composure throughout the whole session. She briefly switched to English saying: “You are my king. You are my boyfriend. You are my everything.”

There’s no doubt she’s her number one fan, she exhibited a high level of enthusiasm and expressed how happy she was seeing him again and also delivered some messages from home, talking about Trezagah’s child and all. She danced around him and almost touched and kissed him.

She must be watching him all day everyday, he also greeted Tayo with swag “Big ups” and told Ellah “I love you!

Shortly after, she exited the house and Trezagah screamed on top of his voice saying “Thanks Biggie!” Housemates hugged  and congratulated him and asked him what she’d said in Portuguese. Trezagah said she’s said she loved him, his son missed him and that Africa was watching and voting for him. Trezagah saw it befitting to grab a glass of wine in excitement.

What did you make of today’s Freeze?

Bad romance

Ellah said it herself when she cited Lady Gaga and called her relationship with Idris a “bad romance”.  In the very early hours of the morning, as they huddled under the covers as they have been apt to do over the last few days, Idris told Ellah that he did not wish to pursue a relationship with her.

Having set his sights back on Goitse, this did not come as much of a surprise. However despite ending it with Ellah, for all intents and purposes, he was not keen on letting her leave the bed. Every time she tried to get up, he pleaded with her to stay, bringing another pop song to mind as he begged “please don’t go.”

Ellah kept insisting that she should go, but Idris’ insistence was just as adamant. She could not help wondering if he just felt sorry for her, but instead he said he felt sorry for himself. As much as he may have been jesting, it was probably not far from the truth as he brooded over his failed relations with Goitse.

Not content with the bewildering state of their relationship Ellah eventually tore herself away from Idris and headed downstairs to chat about her confused feelings with Butterphly. Later this morning, after snatching a few hours’ sleep, she looked much happier and sang lustily while washing the dishes and found the energy to twerk with JJ.

Idris has been very contemplative since his mother came to visit him in the house, ruminating over his relationships with the ladies. What do you think of the strain between Idris and Ellah?

Goitse endorses Idris-Ellah relationship

From ‘Goidris’ (Goitse and Idris) to ‘Ellidris’ (Ellah and Idris)! Goitse just cleared the air on her embatled relationship with Tanzanian rep Idris saying that she had no problem with him going out with Ellah as she thinks they actually look beautiful together.

During her Diary yesterday, Biggie stand in Figgie dug deep asking her how she felt about Idris and his current relationship with Ellah. The petite Botswana beauty said: “I have no problem with them. They actually look beautiful together.” She added that if at all Idris was with Ellah just to make her feel bad then she felt sorry for him because she wasn’t moved an inch as she’s already moved on from the whole fiasco.

She also talked about how she wanted to take time with him but he kept on moving from one girl to another thus she felt he wasn’t the right person for her stressing that she likes to over protect her heart so that she doesn’t get hurt.

Meanwhile, Idris and Ellah are getting closer each day, not only do they share a bed at times but also kiss at every opportunity that presents itself. Could this have a lot to do with his mother’s advice when she visited yesterday?

Freeze task: Another teary session

The Freeze task is surely getting the better of the Hotshots, not only are the consequences (should housemates make movements) grave but also drives these poor souls into their emotional worlds. Whoever hasn’t shed a tear in the house should probably wait for their turn as Biggie brings it on.

Today, JJ‘s father came to the house and had a heartwarming session with him, he told him how special he’s to them and that they were proud of him. All through the five minute session, JJ kept his smile intact with blinking eyes most probably in approval of what his father was passing on. Time was up and he left the house and JJ rashed to the shower to wash his face as he sent back the greetings through sobs. Butterphly and Ellah rashed to his side and comfortaed him.
Sheillahfreeze_zps388cdb18
Before JJ could recover, Biggie attacked again telling housemates to freeze, this time, Sheillah’s sister entered the house and talked to her with Sheillah left helpless and speechless throughout. Her sister went around her and at some point one would think that they were about to hug. Sheillah seems to have let out a few words but we hope Biggie will excuse her for it. After the guest left, housemates were told to unfreeze and Sheillah dropped on the ground crying before Nhlanhla and Goitse gave her shoulders to cry on.

What a week! Biggie is indeed bringing on the game, more visitors are still coming to the house and seems the tears are still flowing.

What did you make of today’s Freeze task teary session?

Hotshots share agricultural ideas

This week housemates will be focussing on food and agricultural in general, Biggie has come through with important guests with valid knowledge, ideas and experience to help housemates add to their own and come up with the best not only duing the tasks and outside the house when they finally get out of the house. Some of the guests were One Campaign’s Dr Sipho Moyo, former Miss Univers, Mpule Kwelagobe and Her Excellency Tumusiime Rhoda Peace, these took them through making agriculture a career option and an overall interest area for young people.

Beauty queen Mpule posed a question; How do we make agriculture sexy? Housemates shared their own ideas and experiences with Nhlanhla saying that he wanted to engage in agriculture to supply food from farms and also provide for his family. Idris reasoned that the major problem Africa was facing was failure to add value to the produce something that earned the continent less than it would have earned after adding value. Beauty Queen Ellah also shared her own experience of encouraging young people to go agriculture during and after her reign as Miss Uganda.

Tayo said that he would be investinmg in his father’s farm while Ma’m Bea opted to go back to Ghana and rally all the youth to do some agriculture and help where necessary and possible.

One Campaign for the cause

Housemates were in for an intense and educational session with three visitors that Biggie sent into the house. The important individuals were from One Campaign and had come through to the house to educate housemates on agriculture in Africa.

The ONE Campaign is an international, nonpartisan, non-profit, advocacy and campaigning organisation that fights extreme poverty and preventable diseases, particularly in Africa, by raising public awareness and pressuring political leaders to support effective policies and programmes that are saving lives and improving futures. It is backed by a movement of nearly 6 million members around the world.

One Campaign Executive, Dr Sipho Moyo, Former Miss Universe, Mpule Kwelagobe, and Commissioner Tumusiime Rhoda Peace were the important visitors that educated housemates on the existing opportunities in Africa for young people.

Mpule Kwelagobe became the first black woman to be crowned Miss Universe when she represented her country Bostwana, in 1999 at the age of 19, becoming the first black woman to be crowned Miss Universe when she represented her country.

Letting the dirt out

Seems Sipe has had enough of the cold shoulder Goitse was giving her of late and thus braved up and comfronted her so that they could talk about their pending issues. Sipe reasoned that she felt she was carrying a heavy load and wondered what she’d done to the Botswana rep. The two ladies goat some privacy in the bedroom and had a chat like two well groomed adults.

Sipe shared with Goitse that she (Goitse) stopped talking to her ever since she become close with Luclay. Sipe told her that whatever it was that Luclay had said to her about anything he may have said she said, was not true. She also wanted to find out why she was not talking to her.

Goitse on the other hand said that she was also perturbed by Sipe’s attitude and thought she was the one who was not talking to her. At some point it seemed like the ladies were accusing each other with no one coming out to take blame.

At the end of it all, Goitse told Sipe that she still cared, loved and respected her while the latter said that she was cool before turning to read her Bible something that probably meant that all was now well.

Do you think these ladies are now sorted?

Feature: Ellah’s been up the most times!

Poor Ellah, she reminds me of Nambian Big Brother ‘The Chase’ winner Dillish who had to dodge as many evictions as possible to finally land in the finals. Likewise, the Ugandan beauty queen has been up a record six times, a feat not matched by any other Big Brother Hotshot this season!

Of all the six times she’s been up, two times were as a result of the Heads of House who reasoned that she was a strong player of the game and thus deserved to be thrown under the bus.

But trust Africa, they’ve always been kicking her right back in whenever she was subjected to the gallows. Being the final nominations and everyone eyeing to be in the much anticipated finale, no none can blame HoH Macky2 for adding up Ellah as it’s just a game and it’s only natural to get rid of competition before anything else, hopefully, Ellah is his greatest competition in this case.

Ellah seems to be moving on well with her game by far and most probably these Hotshots should be worried (so we think) because she’s been up against the likes of Frankie, Esther, Lilian, Sabina among others who were considered strong competitors but still managed to go through unhurt, these very many evictions seem to have made her to be consistent with her game and thus it’s one of those reasons why she’s still in there.

It’s now left to Africa to decide whether to save her for the sixth time or send her back to Kampala with at least a week to go. Whatever happens, Ellah’s traits will still remain evident in the house.

Over to you Africa, will she survive this time around?

Prize money to be deducted!

While in the Big Brother house, you just can’t predict what will happen next as Biggie is always putting up an A-game. This afternoon, Biggie gathered housemates in the living room and introduced new rules to the freeze task, those who break the freeze task rules will no longer be up for possible eviction as there are no more nominations.

The punishment has been changed to reducing on the grand prize money. Any housemate who moves will have impacted on the US$300.000 as US$10.000 will be deducted. Therefore, the 12 Hotshots have to work hard and most importantly together to keep the prize money intact.

After, Sheillah briefing the housemates, most of them didn’t believe it and thought she was playing one of her games but it was indeed true and thus started coming up with plans of how to go about it. Sheillah revealed that she’d move nonetheless but her fellow houemates advised her not to as she may also be the winner on day 63 and thus have less money. Goitse reasoned that they should share the money something Sipe ‘stashed’ off saying sharing deducted money made less sense.

Do you think Housemates will keep up with this task?

Freeze task turns emotional

Biggie unleashed yet another set of rules to the latest freeze task with houssemate not allowed to move so as not to reduce on the prize money. After the last Extravaganza results which had housemates vying for messages from home being so close, Biggie decided that each housemates deserved a message from home.

First to come in the house was Nhlanhla‘s young brother Sabelo who found his big brother lying on the couch, he sat near him, talked to him and filled him in on what his family were up to and forwarded loads of messages from other family members. Sabela was not allowed to touch  his brother, he also greeted Goitse who was also frozen near Nhlanhla. After he’d left, housemates were told to unfreeze and Nhalnhal buried his face in his hands and when he did remove them, tears were flowing down his cheeks. Housemates rushed to his side and comforted her.

Hardly had he recovered than Biggie instructed housemates to freeze again and this time around, Ma’m Bea’s Dad came in and found his daughter seated outside reading a book with Tayo. He told him how much they love her and were proud of her, he wished that she wins the money so that she buys him a C-Class.

After his exit, Ma’m Bea dropped down and cried together with Tayo who had tears allover his face. The rest of the bunch joined the duo outside and they comforted the Ghanaian designer.

What’s your take on this freeze task?

HoH: Thumbs up for Macky2!

Lady luck has finally shone on Zambian rapper Macky2 after he scooped the prestigious HoH crown in the early afternoon, something that had eluded him for weeks! After competiting in the qualifier and making it to the final round, Macky2 was joined by Tayo and JJ with Biggie’s ninja leading them outside where they established the order of play by rolling a set of dice.

Enthusiast JJ rolled the highest number, meaning he could play first. The game consisted of equal rounds for each qualifier in which they rolled the dice in order to move forward on the Payporte Board Game. After rolling the dice, the qualifiers had to move their game pieces along the board for the same amount of spaces as they had rolled on the dice.

Throughout the course of the game, the qualifiers encountered challenges and task which had to be carried out before they could roll the dice for the next round. If housemates landed on a Lucky or a Good-luck Block they had to pick up the corresponding card and read out loud what they had to do.

After an intence and competitive challenge, Macky2 rolled to end of the board first thus handing him the HoH crown for this week. This means that he’s safe this week having been one of the housemates topping the unofficial nomination list. He’s also through to the finals slated for 7th December 2014.

Congratulations to Macky2!

Who do you think he’ll add to the nomination list?

HoH Task Qualifier: Fastest Finger

Despite their hangovers, housemates had to tap into their mental faculties for the Head of House qualifier. Sheillah said she could not wait to give up her title, because she was very tired. She must have been relieved not to have Elikem hovering over her shoulder anymore.

The task was a Payporte Quiz Game, which had been set up in the garden. Housemates had to keep their ears open and absorb the information Big Brother read to them about the inception, history and creative elements of the Payporte website. Once Biggie finished reading, the game began with him asking questions based on what he had just read.

Whoever knew the answer to a question had to press a button which illuminated their light and they had to raise their right hands. Biggie would confirmed which housemate was the fastest, then gave them a chance to answer.

They were told that they were not allowed to shout out answers and anyone who did would be immediately disqualified. The three housemates with the most correct answers in the Payporte Quiz Game would progress to the Head of House task.

After a bit of confusion, with Biggie having to go over the rules and procedure again, the game began. Trezagah, unable to play because of his nomination, watched his fellow housemates. Once the game was over, there was a round of sudden death to break a tie betweenButterphly, Nhlanhla and JJ. With JJ winning, it meant that he qualified for the HoH task along with Tayo and Macky2.

Who do you think will become the HoH?

Butterphly & Idris fight!

It’s now clear, Butterphly hates and never wants to be associated with the word “drunk” whether she’s taken a little too much or not. Firstly, it was ex housemate Vimbai who told her that whoever never shared alcohol was an alcoholic, something she took personally and now it turns out that last night Idris approached her and told her that she’d had enough after taking two glasses of champagne, to her that’s was like calling her drunk and it offended her big time something that since caused a rift between the two “ex besties”.

This morning, Idris approached Butterphly who was having a shower and wanted to iron out things, he told her that he didn’t mean to refer to her as drunk and apologized just in case she thought he meant otherwise. A fuming Butterphly would not have any of it and refused to hear him out reasoning that Idris had taken to always picking on her starting with accusing her of eating alot and wasting food in the house. The Zimbabwean belle told him to stay off her case and stop picking on her just because he thinks she’s the kind of person who will digest everything.

After realizing that his apology wouldn’t be taken, Idris stormed out of the conversation turned heated argument throwing all sorts of insults with Butterphly continuing with her shower.

Butterphly decided to get other housemates’ opinions and Nhlanhla said that it all had a lot to do with the “emotional tension” that’s evident in the house lately while Macky2 frankly told her that she was wrong.

Ellah cornered Idris, hugged him and advised him to let go because at the end of the day, he’s still friends with Butterphly. She also tried talking to Butterphly but she was still very angry and continued to rant.

Almost there

It was such a crazy night yesterday as Biggie’s  prank came to an end but left the poor Hotshots in utter shock with some of them (Tayo, Goitse and Ma’m Bea) being reduced to tears. Fortunately, Biggie tried cheering them up when he opened the store room and drinks started flowing like never before.

Housemates also seem to have been brought together by the shocking events, the girls found solace in the boys’ arms with Idris comforting an inconsolable Goitse but forgetting that Ellah was also emotional and probably needed him, she however opted for JJ to give her some warmth and a kiss.

Tis morning, life had to continue as housemates were taken through a voice session. Trezagah decided to dodge this one even though he’d woken up early, maybe the fact that he’s automatically up is eating him up pretty fast!

The rest of the nominees will be announced tonight but most importantly, the HoH task (the most valuable by far) is on a little later today, we wonder who will win it and who will be added to the nomination list.

Share with us what you think about the upcoming HoH task.
